Job Title: Chief Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Buyer to join our team at Paraffin Store Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality merchandise for resale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Inventory Management: Review requirements and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets to ensure cost estimates are accurate and within budget.
  • Supervision: Lead a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of procurement tasks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and contracts.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
