Job Opportunity: On-Call Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented On-Call Receptionist to join our team at a top 5 bank in Toronto. This is a 24-month contract position with a high possibility of contract extension and conversion to a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and directing visitors to the appropriate meeting rooms or businesses
  • Receiving and signing of mail and packages, sorting into the appropriate groups
  • Management of meeting rooms, including bookings and tidy-ups
  • Setting up meeting rooms for catering where required
  • Managing inquiries to the appropriate team
  • Placing service calls where required to the appropriate team
  • Seating charts management
  • Working closely with the concierge for ordering supplies, etc.
  • Management of emergency situations
  • Managing access pass cards
Requirements:
  • Quick learner, above and beyond to learn new things
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Able to manage desk, manage priorities
  • Professional and presentable - business casual attire, friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Aware of the contract expectations and willing to commit for two years
Nice to Have:
  • Previous admin background
  • MS Suites - intermediate, willingness to learn
