The IT Business Solutions Consultant at Anishinabek Employment & Training Services is responsible for developing and implementing effective corporate & departmental business & enterprise applications and web solutions. The ideal candidate will provide functional guidance to both division and corporate or departmental clients as it relates to business & enterprise applications, web solutions, and the resolution of technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement corporate & departmental business & enterprise applications and web solutions utilizing the Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Provide functional guidance to division and corporate or departmental clients on business & enterprise applications and web solutions.
  • Identify and develop technical standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the business application owner to establish and review user security access for the application.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or information systems together with three years' recent experience working with business application and web solutions, advanced programming techniques, relational database technology, and project management.
  • Knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards.
  • Superior ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with clients, co-workers, and business partners.
