Job Summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts.
  • Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
  • Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
  • Position, support, and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators.
  • Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety.

Requirements

  • Have a Journeyperson Electrician or Indentured Apprentice Level Ticket.
  • Safety Tickets: H2S Alive, AWP, Fall Protection.
  • Have high regard for personal safety, company assets, and employees.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
