We believe that education should be accessible to everyone. Our diverse range of student support services helps students succeed in their academic pursuits. These services include Student Wellness Services, the Exam Centre, Student Conduct and Academic Integrity, Access and Disability Resources, and Wellness and Psychological Services.

The Associate Vice-President, Student Support and Accountability, plays a key role in leading our student support services team. This leader provides strategic and operational leadership to enhance student access, wellness, and accountability. They will oversee the planning, development, organization, and administration of student support policies and services, ensuring effective communication between student support areas and the broader University.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Operational Leadership: Develop and manage the annual operating budget in consultation with the Provost. Drive change initiatives to optimize service levels and resource allocation.
  • Program and Services Leadership: Identify opportunities for program and service enhancements and lead their implementation. Collaborate with senior leaders to align student-focused initiatives with broader university goals.
  • Management and People Leadership: Build and lead a team committed to the University's vision and priorities. Manage direct reports by assigning workloads and responding to emerging issues.

Salary: A competitive compensation package, including an attractive base salary of $135,000 per year, plus excellent benefits, will be provided.
