Job Summary
  • Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the British Columbia curriculum.
  • Develop and implement supplemental assignments to promote deeper understanding of material.
  • Offer remedial and enrichment support to students, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and goals.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Hold a valid teaching registration in good standing with the British Columbia College of Teachers.
  • Be qualified to teach in a Canadian province or territory outside of British Columbia.
  • Be qualified to teach in the United States.
  • Be a current teacher candidate, pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
  • Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited Canadian university or college.
