Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director, Risk and Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our risk management and compliance strategies. You will work closely with our senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure that our organization operates in a controlled and compliant manner.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our risk management and compliance strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with our senior leaders and stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities, and implement control measures to maintain a stable and compliant environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and industry peers.
  • Provide guidance and support to our business units on risk management and compliance matters, ensuring that they operate within established policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in a similar role within a large financial institution.
  • Professional designation in accounting or auditing (CA, CPA, CIA, CISA) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
