Fleetex Transport is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our day-to-day activities.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, establishing work priorities, and ensuring that procedures are followed and deadlines are met. They will also be involved in administering policies and procedures related to the release of records, coordinating and planning for office services, and assisting in the preparation of operating budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish work priorities and ensure that procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records, in accordance with government access to information and privacy legislation.
- Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Electronic mail management and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Organized and reliable, with attention to detail.
- Fast-paced work environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
