Data Insights Specialist, E-commerce Optimization

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team in Boucherville, QC. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by analyzing complex data sets and developing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

About the Role:

This senior-level position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies that optimize online conversion rates and improve overall customer experience on our e-commerce platforms (rona.ca and renedepot.com).

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and communicating large data sets to drive business recommendations and optimization opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining reporting solutions using Adobe Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance analytical capabilities and identify trends to support data-driven decisions
  • Mentoring junior analysts to ensure effective utilization of data insights

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights. A bachelor's degree in e-commerce, business intelligence, marketing, or a related field is required, along with 5-8 years of experience in web data analysis.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in e-commerce, business intelligence, marketing, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in web data analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling and visualization tools (Power Query, MicroStrategy) and Office tools (Excel - advanced, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize different projects and navigate in a constantly evolving environment

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
