Manufacturing Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Optimization Specialist to join our team at Soucy.
About the RoleIn this challenging position, you will play a key role in improving the performance and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include implementing safe work methods based on industry best practices, participating in continuous improvement projects, analyzing and optimizing workstations to improve productivity and reduce waste, and working closely with production, logistics, manufacturing engineering and other teams.
Key Responsibilities- Implement safe work methods and participate in continuous improvement projects such as VAP, SMED, 5S, Kaizen, and new product introduction.
- Analyze and optimize workstations to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Participate in risk analyses of equipment and workstations.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, manufacturing engineering, and other teams to achieve manufacturing excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical, synthesis, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and make initiative-driven decisions. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
