Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is CAD $65,000 - CAD $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
As an Advanced Manufacturing Specialist - CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating high-tech machine-tools to manufacture parts, as well as computer numerical control (CNC) tools. You will read and interpret technical drawings from purchase orders or verbal instructions and collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient production processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a vocational studies diploma in machining techniques or tin/sheet metal working. AVS in computer numerical control (CNC) machine-tool operation is an asset. Experience using tools in a plant and a methodical approach are also essential. Collaboration-oriented individuals who can work effectively in a team environment will thrive in this position.
