High Speed Analog IC Design Engineer

As a key member of our Mixed Signal Design team, you will be responsible for developing high-speed analog designs for optical communications products. Your expertise in architecting, designing, and laying out ultra-deep sub-micron-based CMOS products will be crucial in meeting the demands of our 100G, 400G, and 1T bit speed fiber optic transmission market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-speed analog circuits for optical communications products
- Collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met
- Lead efforts for large blocks on complex chips, mentor team members, and track deliverables
- Participate in peer review of complex IC designs and provide solid design methodology from conception to production
Requirements:
- BSEE degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent, an MS degree with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent, or a PhD with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent
- Design, simulation, and measurement of high-speed ICs in at least 3 areas: high-speed serial links, voltage regulators, and high-performance output drivers
- Experience with FinFET technology and high-frequency layout
Preferred Requirements:
- Direct experience with electrical transceiver applications, including backplane and cable communications
- Experience with Cadence (Virtuoso) and Spectre/APS/SpectreX
