Fuel Director

At Circle K, we're seeking a highly skilled Fuel Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for driving our fuel business forward and ensuring we deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement fuel pricing strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee retail pricing strategies and execution to ensure consistency and discipline across all sites.
- Maintain high-speed-to-market execution and manage execution as market demands.
- Develop and manage all fuel strategies, including supply relationships, Circle K's Gas and major brand marketing and loyalty programs.
- Manage strategy on a site-by-site basis to ensure individual and overall price position and division, product, and brand strategies are aligned.
- Ensure daily that each site is priced for optimal performance.
- Hire, develop, and train fuel teams to advance internally and foster a learning environment with high-performance expectations.
- Coordinate fuel objectives with other department initiatives to optimize performance of fuel sites.
- Anticipate opportunities to guide pricing and market strategies to increase fuel margin daily.
- Control Fuel Department overheads to budgeted levels.
- Recommend capital improvements to improve fuels contribution to store profitability.
- Develop, implement, and oversee initiatives related to payment systems, including fleet card sales and administration.
- Responsible for day-to-day supply management.
- Manage SIR program.
- Oversee the division's car wash operation and market strategies to maximize profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing, sciences, environmental studies, or engineering.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in fuel management, pricing, and supply chain management.
- Advanced managerial and leadership skills, with the ability to manage product, price position, and TSSA compliance.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to drive fuel-related projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and aptitude to develop and understand other software tools.
- A current valid driver's license with a clean abstract to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to travel up to 30% as required.
