About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Northern Motor Inn. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as required.
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Assistant at Northern Motor Inn, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
