We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Evergreen Home for Special Care - Seniors Centre. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to residents, including assessing their needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including symptoms and medication side effects.
- Supervise and train licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
- College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Experience an asset.
