About the Role

Sovereign Insurance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Consultant to join our Risk Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments on commercial and farm properties, identifying risks and exposures, and providing expert advice to our underwriting partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk evaluations of commercial and farm properties to identify potential hazards and exposures.
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to minimize losses and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with underwriting partners to provide expert advice and guidance on risk management.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess risk and provide recommendations for loss prevention improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in loss control/risk engineering, with a focus on commercial and farm risk.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and relevant fire and building codes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
