Job Description

As a key member of the Vention technology team, you will play a crucial role in defining and developing the company's AI product roadmap. With a focus on innovative technologies such as generative 3D design, autonomous robotics, and computer vision, you will be responsible for building Vention's AI infrastructure and bringing cutting-edge products to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive technology development for Vention's AI and Robotics Vision products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Create proof-of-concept prototypes for key AI sub-systems and identify paths forward for productization.
  • Maintain and improve Vention's machine learning models across the product portfolio.
  • Develop Vention's AI infrastructure, including server, data structure, and edge-to-cloud data capabilities, to support synthetic and field-based machine learning.
  • Own the technical advancement of Vention's AI partnerships with software, infrastructure, and robot arm partners.
  • Participate in the Vention Technology Committee, shaping the company's enterprise-wide technology roadmap.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software, AI, and robotics technologies.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience in ML/AI projects with proven commercial use cases.
  • Experience leading or overseeing a team of ML/AI developers.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and web development frameworks such as React.
  • Experience designing responsive systems (embedded and cloud/web).
  • Understanding of distributed system design and related technical challenges.
  • Strong ownership of all aspects throughout the SDLC and beyond.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, with a focus on end-to-end solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
