Role Overview

As a pivotal member of the technology division, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be instrumental in shaping the Vention AI product strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of initiatives, from generative 3D design to autonomous robotics and computer vision. You and your team will be tasked with developing the foundational AI infrastructure and launching the inaugural suite of AI products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technological advancement of Vention's AI and Robotics Vision offerings, collaborating closely with various product teams.
  • Develop proof of concepts for essential AI subsystems and chart pathways for their commercialization.
  • Enhance and maintain Vention's machine learning models across the product spectrum.
  • Construct Vention's AI infrastructure, including server architecture and data management systems, to support machine learning capabilities for diverse product initiatives.
  • Oversee the technical progression of our AI collaborations with software, infrastructure, and robotics partners.
  • Contribute to the Vention Technology Committee, influencing the overarching technology roadmap across the enterprise.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in software, AI, and robotics technologies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development.
  • At least 5 years of experience in machine learning and AI projects with demonstrable commercial applications.
  • Proven experience in leading or managing a team of machine learning and AI developers.
  • Expertise in designing responsive systems, both embedded and cloud-based.
  • Strong understanding of distributed system architecture and associated technical challenges.
  • Demonstrated ownership of all phases of the software development lifecycle and beyond.
  • Exemplary sense of responsibility, showcasing ownership over comprehensive, end-to-end solutions.
