About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Audit & Compliance Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Transportation Risk & Compliance Operations team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and monitoring risk mitigation strategies to improve the customer experience and protect Amazon's brand.

In this role, you will work closely with our Last Mile transportation businesses to build strategic initiatives and frameworks that support carrier partners in meeting legal and contractual obligations relating to business practices, driver/provider eligibility, and safety standards. You will be expected to apply risk and control concepts to new and existing business models, clearly and concisely communicate identified findings to senior leadership, and partner with cross-functional teams to design workflows in support of risk-reduction activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Risk Program Development: Define, develop, and implement risk programs and drive improvements quantified with metrics.
  2. Project Management: Lead, monitor, and drive projects through to completion on time.
  3. Partnership Building: Establish successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute both tactical and strategic initiatives.
  4. Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal), preferably in both English and French.
  5. Problem-Solving: Use data and insights to drive both tactical and strategic business decisions.
A Day in the Life

As an Audit & Compliance Manager, you will set program objectives, assign appropriate metrics that measure success, and drive business changes to reduce risk. You will oversee inspection activities, including consulting with carrier partners on corrective action plans and associated remediation. You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, safety, legal, finance, tech, and human resource teams to implement world-class, customer-centric, compliance and risk management solutions.

Requirements
  1. Compliance Experience: 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  3. Confidentiality: Experience handling confidential information.
  4. Language Skills: Bilingual in French and English, proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in both languages.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Program Requirements Definition: 3+ years of experience in defining and leveraging data and metrics to drive improvements.
  2. Professional Auditing Qualification: Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience with SQL and Excel.
