Marketing Event Strategist

ZayZoon group seeks a seasoned Marketing Event Strategist to drive brand awareness and affinity, generate high-quality leads, increase engagement, and partner with our sales and marketing teams to exceed our goals.

About the Role:

  • Field Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with channel partner sales and marketing teams to design and execute impactful field marketing events that align with ZayZoon's GTM strategy. You'll think big-picture while ensuring each event drives measurable results.
  • Event Operations: Execute all programs with operational excellence, including managing budgets, internal/external stakeholders, marketing and creative teams, event technology, shipping, booth builds, booth traffic and engagement activities, and other event logistics.
  • Campaign Management & Engagement Generation: Execute event programs that create engagement, accelerate pipeline, and deepen our existing partner relationships. Strategize, build and execute integrated campaigns that involve an omnichannel approach.
  • Event Measurement: Define and measure event success metrics like ROI and ROX, ensuring insights are captured to improve program effectiveness continually.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in field marketing, event operations, and/or demand generation (preferably in high-growth SaaS scaleup)
  • 2+ years working with cross-functional teams or stakeholders, ideally channel and partner organizations
  • A valid passport for occasional travel to the United States
  • Digital and in-person event experience including webinars, multi-day industry expos, partner training days, or demo days
  • Direct experience and ownership of producing various-sized programs and budgets from program goals to show management
  • Project management expertise
  • A strong handle on working with budgets, event contracts, expenses & accounts payable
  • Ability to multitask and take the lead on several events simultaneously

Location: Candidates must be located in Canada to be considered. This role is available on a permanently remote basis. The estimated annual salary for this position is $110,000 CAD, based on industry standards and comparable roles in similar locations. Please note that this estimate may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
