About the Job

S.E.S. ENTERPRISES INC is seeking a skilled Brick and Stone Mason to join our team. As a key member of our construction and renovation team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing brick and stone structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to build residential or commercial structures.
  • Construction and Renovation: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
  • Materials Management: Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required for each project.
  • Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Tool Maintenance: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Construction, repair, renovation, commercial, and residential settings.
  • Certifications and Training: Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
