About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Brick and Stone Mason to join our team at S.E.S. ENTERPRISES INC. As a key member of our construction and renovation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality masonry work on various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to ensure a strong and durable foundation for our construction projects.
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide a visually appealing veneer facing for our clients' homes and businesses.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units to meet the needs of our clients and ensure timely project completion.
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations that exceed our clients' expectations and add value to their properties.
  • Read sketches and blueprints to accurately calculate materials required for each project and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks safely and effectively.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools to ensure precise and high-quality results.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to maintain their integrity and appearance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent education.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the masonry trade or equivalent experience.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course certification.
  • Physically demanding work environment requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat as essential personal protective equipment.
  • Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player qualities are essential for success in this role.
