About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mason and Stoneworker to join our team at Natural Granite & Marble Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build and restore structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Installation: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build and restore structures.
  • Veneer Facing: Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide a decorative facing for buildings.
  • Prefabricated Masonry Units: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units to meet project requirements.
  • Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Tool Operation: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Chimney and Fireplace Construction: Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Masonry Restoration: Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to maintain their appearance and integrity.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Possess basic security clearance to work on sensitive projects.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, and reliability as a team player.
  • Experience: Have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the masonry trade.
