Job Title: Senior Compression Project Engineer

Startec Compression & Process is seeking a highly skilled Senior Compression Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of Gas Compression and Refrigeration packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Gas Compression and Refrigeration packages, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative design solutions and optimize package efficiency.
  • Manage and assist with all technical and manufacturing issues on multiple projects.
  • Provide engineering support to the Service department during equipment commissioning and start-up.
  • Mentor and guide junior Engineers and Engineering Technologists on a project basis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering designation through APEGA is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in compression, refrigeration packaging/manufacturing.
  • Experience working at a supervisory capacity with Project Engineers/Technologist and designers.
  • Strong knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, VMG).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
