Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Startec Compression & Process is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of gas compression, refrigeration, and gas processing packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of package designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative design solutions and optimize package efficiency.
  • Manage and assist with all technical and manufacturing issues on multiple projects.
  • Provide engineering support to the Service department during equipment commissioning and start-up.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and engineering technologists on a project basis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • P.Eng (APEGA) or Professional Licensee (Engineering).
  • 10+ years of experience in compression, refrigeration, and gas processing, packaging/manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, VMG).
  • Strong knowledge of requirements from Engineering jurisdictions (ABSA, EGBC, TSASK).
  • Strong technical knowledge of packaging design principles, materials, and fabrication processes.
