Job Title: Retail Sales Manager - Customer Service Expert
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Forest City Surplus. As a Retail Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and overseeing the daily operations of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and control daily operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales performance.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
- Manage staff and assign duties, providing coaching and feedback to ensure team members meet their goals.
- Implement price and credits policies, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Determine staffing requirements, based on sales volume and customer demand.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to improve team performance.
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of customer service and sales performance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and productive attitude.
