We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Tokaido Ramen & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
This is a permanent position with a 30 to 40 hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of energy.
