Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Banking Executive to join our team, specializing in Insurance. As a key member of our Global Financial Institutions Group – Insurance Team, you will work on origination and structuring of corporate lending transactions, coordinating with other product teams to maintain strong client relationships.

  • Prepare credit documentation, including applications, underwriting memoranda, presentations, and annual reviews, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of Insurance companies, progressing towards increasing client responsibility.
  • Review and monitor performance of existing accounts and client relationships from both ROE and credit quality perspectives.
  • Provide deal structuring expertise and negotiate transactions with clients.
  • Apply advanced Insurance technical concepts and complete reliable technical and financial reports/analyses to support credit and client deliverables.
  • Complete due diligence and credit analysis on new and existing client relationships, including client visits, business model analysis, and comprehensive review of industry trends and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or accounting, with high academic achievement.
  • A preferred MBA, CFA, or equivalent experience in financial services, accounting, or legal fields.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in covering the Insurance segment from a corporate or commercial banking and lending perspective, including credit underwriting, transaction structuring, and client management within the Insurance sector.
  • Advanced deal execution and/or project management skills, with ability to manage multiple clients/initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in Insurance credit analysis.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
