Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at the Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our Corporate Banking department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients, providing strategic advice and tailored solutions to meet their financial needs.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior corporate clients, understanding their business needs and providing expert advice on financial solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate lending and cash management products, ensuring client satisfaction and meeting revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists and credit analysts, to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on client relationships and business performance.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate banking, with a strong focus on relationship management and portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services, including cash management, lending, and trade finance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, business, or economics.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CFA or CAIA, are an asset.
