About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Maglicious. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure exceptional service and quality.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, including requisitioning and ordering.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to meet customer demand.
  • Prepare and cook meals for customers with dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members.
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including sous-chefs, specialist chefs, and cooks.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing kitchen teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
