Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our culinary team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Work closely with our purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients and supplies.
  • Develop and manage kitchen budgets and forecasts.
  • Lead by example and promote a positive and inclusive kitchen culture.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and culinary skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification an asset.
