Farm Boy Inc. is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Optimization Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, driving business growth and excellence through strategic planning, process improvement, and data-driven decision making.

About the Role

This position requires 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in an office setting, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Finance. A post-secondary education in a related field is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper inventory levels by SKU, maximizing fill rates, shelf-life availability, and product freshness through effective forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Communicate clearly with the supply chain team to expedite accurate transmission of information and products.
  • Maintain accurate data to enable effective decision-making regarding inventory control.
  • Oversee purchase order spending for merchandise products, reviewing POs to prevent unnecessary purchases.
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies, ensuring optimal seasonal inventory levels across warehouses, manufacturing sites, and stores.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to optimize integrated planning and execution processes, executing item-level sales plans and seasonal purchase orders.
  • Direct and support the Supply Management team using reporting tools, identifying exceptions and opportunities with daily inventory tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in an office setting.
  • Solid knowledge of retail business practices, with a passion for food retailing and superior quality standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong decision-making abilities, and excellent communication style (written and oral).
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset.

Work Environment:

This role involves working under multiple deadlines, providing service to several departments, and exposure to eye strain from computer terminals and various temperature environments.

Compensation Package:

The estimated salary for this position is between $70,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
