As a Commercial Partnerships Manager at Canonical, you will play a key role in driving business growth and partnerships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Software as a Service (SaaS) companies. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to increase revenue and expand our presence in the Linux ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive embedded support and licensing sales with ISVs to exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets
  • Lead customer relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales, customer success, and support lifecycle
  • Shape our content and messaging for ISV partners and customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Marketing, Product, Alliances, and Sales teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Requirements
  • An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
  • Experience in lead generation and business development in the software sector
  • Knowledge of software licensing and SaaS models
  • Knowledge of open source and the Linux ecosystem
  • Outstanding business English writing and presentation skills
  • Personal interest and engagement in the software and SaaS industry
