Restaurant Operations Manager

At East Izakaya, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and improve daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Set and manage staff work schedules to meet business needs.
- Determine and implement operational procedures to maintain high standards.
- Balance cash and complete financial reports to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Cost products and services to maintain profitability.
- Enforce liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to protect employees and customers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or facility use.
- Participate in marketing plans to promote the business.
- Lead and instruct staff to achieve business goals.
- Address customer complaints and provide exceptional service.
- Manage events to increase revenue and customer engagement.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.

- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent position with 40-44 hours per week.
