Health Care Aide Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide direct client care, including transferring and transporting patients and equipment handling.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care.
- Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards, required.
- Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course required.
- Ability to provide safe, effective, personal care in a manner that considers each individual's need for comfort, privacy, and respect.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Basic computer skills: MS Word and Outlook.
- Experience providing care to individuals with physical or cognitive impairments.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Training and/or maintenance of competence.
- Ability to work shift work and weekends.
