Your New Role
The Community Manager at Fraser Pointe 2 oversees the administrative and maintenance operations for both Fraser Pointe 1 & 2, comprising 360 residential units. Key responsibilities include managing staff, approving vacation requests, addressing personnel issues, and conducting inspections. This role also involves overseeing housekeeping, preventive maintenance, and repairs, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring quality standards.
Tenant Relations and Support
The Community Manager handles tenant relations, rent collection, and tenancy violations, participates in fire and life safety procedures, supports budget preparation, monitors expenses and revenue, and ensures accurate records. They will also assist with rental rate changes, tenant appreciation events, and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, building systems, and maintenance, along with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in computer applications like Microsoft Office and Yardi is required, as well as strong leadership and multitasking abilities. A clear criminal record and credit check are necessary.
What You'll Receive
In exchange for your commitment to this role, you can expect a competitive salary, including a base salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000. Additional benefits include 4 weeks of vacation, extended health benefits from day one, a defined pension, tuition reimbursement, health spending account, and parking.
