Occupational Therapist Specialist for Collaborative Care

Your Role
- You will assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning in our clinic setting, utilizing assessments such as job demands analysis, functional capacity evaluations, and ergonomic evaluations.
- You will create individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning, educating clients on topics like safe body mechanics and cognitive behavioral strategies.
- You will support return-to-work programs, recommending accommodations and providing job coaching.
- You will utilize e-charting software to document sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- You will participate in case conferences and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- You must be registered with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists and have previous experience treating clients with various conditions.
- You should be autonomous, able to work independently and as part of the team, with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Prior experience supporting auto insurance referrals, long-term disability claims, and WSIB cases is an asset.
