About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our team at Bethany Airdrie. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support and care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, maintaining their dignity and promoting independence.
  • Document and report resident care and observations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents, colleagues, and self by adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and change resident care plans.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
  • Registered with the Government of Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
  • Prior experience as a Health Care Aide is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work in a physically and mentally demanding environment
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000, based on industry standards and location.
