Senior Code Consultant, Building Services

As a Senior Code Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in project delivery, working closely with clients and colleagues to ensure successful outcomes. We are looking for forward-thinking individuals who can navigate challenges, provide impactful solutions, and lead projects in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Apply Building and Fire Codes to new designs and renovations.
- Review and mentor junior team members on project work.
- Prepare comprehensive Code reports and technical documentation for complex projects.
- Advise clients on the application of Codes and standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and technical disciplines for effective project execution.
- Investigate and resolve unique design and Code challenges.
- Develop project proposals and engage with clients to identify their needs.
- Expand Code Consulting services by identifying new client opportunities.
- Manage projects and serve as the primary contact for clients.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in code consulting.
- Proven ability in business development.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of Building and Fire Codes; familiarity with Ontario and National Codes is preferred.
- Demonstrated project management skills and effective communication with clients and contractors.
