Healthcare Leader for Primary Care

Northern Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to fill the role of Primary Care Nurse Team Leader in our Primary Care team. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team and make a positive impact on the lives of patients and families in our community.
CompensationThe salary for this position is estimated to be between $52,390 and $66,650 per year, depending on experience.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Primary Care Nurse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Your duties will include:
- Providing guidance and supervision to the assigned interprofessional teams
- Collaborating with physicians and nurse practitioners to develop and implement care plans
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues
- Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A baccalaureate degree in nursing, including community health content, from a recognized university
- At least three years of recent related experience in nursing, including teaching, supervisory, or program coordination experience
- Registration with BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing RN or RPN registrant (BCCNP)
- A valid driver's license
Northern Health Authority offers a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees. Casuals have the option of paying for benefits.
Working ConditionsThis position is located in Prince Rupert, a coastal port city with a population of 12,220. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
