Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PCB Assembly Technician to join our team at Mircom Group of Companies. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate assembly of electronic components using complex machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Set up, run, and troubleshoot Wave Solder machines with minimal downtime and under minimal supervision.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Visually inspect boards after processing to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Work Environment: Work in a safe and organized manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Machine operator experience and certification are assets.
  • Skills: Ability to read work orders, follow production procedures, and understand verbal instructions. Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to wear a mask while using the Wave Solder machine, stand for long periods, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
