Job Summary:

Mircom Group of Companies is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate assembly of electronic components using complex machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, run, and troubleshoot Wave Solder machines with minimal downtime and supervision.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Visually inspect boards after processing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work in a safe and organized manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Machine operator experience and certification are assets.
  • Ability to read work orders, follow production procedures, and understand verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly accurate with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to perform mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
