Job Summary:

The Manager, Operations Training will play a critical role in developing and implementing training programs that support the onboarding and ongoing development of restaurant team members and managers. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver engaging training content, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop eLearning training programs to support national program, product, and procedural launches and/or changes
  • Manage the Learning Management System, including design, user experience, troubleshooting, and resource deployment
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to develop training content and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine training requirements and develop effective training solutions
  • Champion the training process to ensure timely, accurate, and thorough delivery of all materials to restaurant teams
  • Work with vendors and partners to ensure cost-effective solutions for training delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct intake of information and approval/alignment across all key stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in training, communications, or a related field, with a background in operations a plus
  • University degree in communications, business, hospitality, education, or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in instructional design, creating training content, and materials, or communication
  • Ability to establish and build effective relationships and work collaboratively with others to set and achieve goals
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information to identify issues and prescribe effective training solutions
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation, project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System is an asset
  • Ability to write and speak French is an asset
