Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, maintaining high-quality images, and contributing to the efficient operation of our ultrasound service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Registered with A.R.D.M.S. and/or CARDUP
  • Certificate of registration with the CMRITO
  • Credentials in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), Abdomen (ABD), and Vascular (RVT)
  • Recent experience in Diagnostic Imaging Department
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Meditech (preferred)
