Job Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Technologist, CT/X-Ray to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and X-ray equipment. They will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Radiography.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field (an asset).
  • Minimum one year of experience in CT/X-ray imaging (preferred).
  • Recent experience with CT imaging (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Safety Code 35 and RHPA.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
