Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Role:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will perform ultrasound examinations and maintain high-quality images in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our dedicated team of professionals focused on providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and perform ultrasound examinations assigned by the team lead.
  2. Maintain and document high-quality images during the course of duties.
  3. Actively participate in implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of the ultrasound service.
  4. Collaborate with the team to achieve high-quality patient care and excellent departmental performance.

Requirements:

  1. Registered with A.R.D.M.S. and/or CARDUP.
  2. Certificate of registration with the CMRITO.
  3. Credentials in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), Abdomen (ABD), and Vascular (RVT).
  4. Recent experience in Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  5. Ability to maintain registry status by obtaining required continuing education credits every three years.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Good computer skills and knowledge of Meditech (preferred).
