Job Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Technologist, CT/X-Ray to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and X-ray technology. This includes operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners and X-ray machines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Radiography.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field (an asset).
  • Minimum one year of experience in a related field (preferred).
  • Recent experience with CT technology (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Safety Code 35 and RHPA.
  • Working knowledge of standards of practice for related field.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
