Event Marketing Specialist

Canada Inc. (Platinum Events) is seeking a highly skilled Event Marketing Specialist to join our team. As an Event Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our events and increase brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase brand awareness
- Evaluate communication strategies and programs to ensure effectiveness
- Implement communication strategies and programs to engage target audiences
- Oversee the preparation of public written materials, including event programs and promotional materials
- Prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids to support event planning
- Produce educational and publicity programs and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter
- Publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes
- Supervise staff and train them on event marketing and planning
- Act as spokesperson for the organization and respond to written and oral inquiries
- Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to inform event planning
- Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to support event marketing
- Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to reach target audiences
- Solicit event donors and review bids and negotiate costs
- Research and design special events programs to engage target audiences
- Prepare, present, and manage budgets for events
- Plan for required documentation and pre- and post-distribution of documentation (itineraries, evaluations, etc.)
- Plan for traffic and crowd control and security for events
- Plan for translation and interpretation services for events
- Plan schedules, goals, and objectives for events
- Implement registration systems for events
- Develop policies and procedures and attend to other management responsibilities
- Develop risk management plans and financial procedures for events
- Confirm and coordinate speakers for events
- Arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage for events
- Plan for VIP arrangements for events
- Manage Event Logistics for events
- Coordinate media services for events
- Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers for events
- Identify human resources requirements for events
- Plan and oversee Webinars for events
- Assist in preparing financial reports for events
- Administer revenues and expenditures for events
