Job Title: Event Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Marketing Specialist to join our team at Platinum Events. As an Event Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our events and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase brand awareness
  • Evaluate communication strategies and programs to ensure effectiveness
  • Implement communication strategies and programs to achieve marketing goals
  • Oversee the preparation of public written material, including event programs and promotional materials
  • Prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids to support event planning
  • Produce educational and publicity programs and informational materials to engage audiences and promote events
  • Publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events to attract attendees and increase visibility
  • Supervise staff and train them on marketing and event planning best practices
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization and respond to written and oral inquiries
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to inform marketing strategies
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to evaluate marketing effectiveness
  • Conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions to reach a wider audience
  • Solicit event donors and review bids and negotiate costs to ensure successful event execution
  • Research and design special events programs to engage audiences and promote the organization
  • Prepare, present, and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability
  • Plan for required documentation, pre- and post-distribution of documentation, and other logistical aspects of event planning
  • Plan for traffic and crowd control, security, translation, and interpretation services to ensure a smooth event experience
  • Plan schedules, goals, and objectives to achieve marketing and event planning goals
  • Implement registration systems and develop policies and procedures to ensure efficient event execution
  • Develop risk management plans and financial procedures to ensure financial stability
  • Confirm and coordinate speakers, arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage, and plan for VIP arrangements to ensure a successful event
  • Manage event logistics, coordinate media services, and coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support event planning and execution
  • Identify human resources requirements and plan and oversee webinars to engage audiences and promote events
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and administer revenues and expenditures to ensure financial sustainability
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in event marketing, publicity, or a related field
  • Dental plan
