Job Title: Event Marketing Specialist

Canada Inc. (Platinum Events) is seeking a highly skilled Event Marketing Specialist to join our team. As an Event Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our events and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase brand awareness
  • Evaluate communication strategies and programs to ensure effectiveness
  • Implement communication strategies and programs to achieve marketing goals
  • Oversee the preparation of public written material, including event programs and promotional materials
  • Prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids to support event planning
  • Produce educational and publicity programs and informational materials to engage audiences and promote events
  • Publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events to promote fundraising and information purposes
  • Supervise staff and train them on marketing and event planning best practices
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization and respond to written and oral inquiries
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to inform marketing strategies
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to evaluate marketing effectiveness
  • Conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions to reach target audiences
  • Solicit event donors and review bids and negotiate costs to ensure event success
  • Research and design special events programs to engage audiences and promote brand awareness
  • Prepare, present, and manage budgets to ensure event profitability
  • Plan for required documentation and pre- and post-distribution of documentation (itineraries, evaluations, etc.)
  • Plan for traffic and crowd control and security to ensure event safety
  • Plan for translation and interpretation services to accommodate diverse audiences
  • Plan schedules, goals, and objectives to ensure event success
  • Implement registration systems to manage event attendance
  • Develop policies and procedures and attend to other management responsibilities to ensure event smoothness
  • Develop risk management plans to mitigate event risks
  • Develop financial procedures to ensure event profitability
  • Confirm and coordinate speakers to ensure event quality
  • Arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage to ensure event logistics
  • Plan for VIP arrangements to ensure event prestige
  • Manage event logistics to ensure event success
  • Coordinate media services to promote events and increase brand awareness
  • Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details to ensure event smoothness
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure event success
  • Identify human resources requirements to ensure event staffing
  • Plan and oversee webinars to engage audiences and promote brand awareness
  • Assist in preparing financial reports to ensure event profitability
  • Administer revenues and expenditures to ensure event financial management
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in event marketing and planning
